Welcome In
We ask for your patience as our site is in a state of transformation while we work diligently on the next stage of the journey.
Beginning in April of 2022, The Empty Tea Cup has maintained its purpose of fostering space that nurtures rest and cultivates exploration in Tea, self, and community.
In 2025, we will be growing from a small tea service focused on traditional Camellia-Sinensis based teas, to opening a tea house in Oak Harbor, WA.
This new branch of our tea journey will create an anchored space for folks to visit and continue their own explorations in tea. Our intention is to bring a space that will serve the local community through the togetherness of tea, while ethically supporting the countless hands that bring the leaf to the cup.
Please join us by signing-up for our newsletter below. We will be announcing the soft opening of the tea house only to newsletter subscribers.
Following the full opening, we will utilize the newsletter for occasional updates on future community gatherings, classes, special events, and of course tea.
Tea services are still available, please reach out and let us know how you're interested in exploring tea with us.
Thank you for stopping by, we hope you join us around the tea table soon.
Tea House
Located in downtown Oak Harbor, The Empty Tea Cup Tea House is taking shape with the intention of providing folks the space to rest their senses, while invigorating their intrigue in tea and community.
Starting with over forty Camellia-Sinensis based teas from eleven different origin countries, we hope there will be something for every palate to enjoy and spark interest into the endless variety of traditional loose leaf teas.
Tea Exploration Service
Starting with local no cost tea gatherings and knowledge sharing sessions, The Empty Tea Cup has grown to serving tea to folks across the PNW. You'll find us at all of the PNW tea festivals: Cascadia Tea Festivals, TeaFest PDX, Eugene Tea Festival, and The Northwest Tea Festival.
We are available for public and private tea sessions that explore the infinite possibilities of the Camellia-Sinensis plant. Sessions can be structured as an academic focus on specific types, cultures, regions, or as casual gatherings with friends.
Please join our mailing list, we'll keep you updated regarding future events at the tea house and other public locations.
